Privacy, kept simple.

SYNO synchronizes playback, video choices, and submitted YouTube searches while you are in a party.

• The relay receives the party code, YouTube video ID, shared YouTube page and search query, playback time, play/pause state, and a random session identifier.
• Rooms are stored in server memory and deleted after six hours without connected participants, or on server restart.
• Your browser stores party membership locally to reconnect after refresh. Leaving the party or closing its tab clears that membership.
• Network infrastructure processes IP addresses to deliver connections and limit abuse. The application does not persist room activity. Web-server error logs can contain IP addresses and request paths when errors occur; logs are rotated daily with up to 14 rotated files retained. Routine access logging is disabled.
• We do not collect Google passwords, cookies, account identity, watch history outside the party, or video/audio streams. We do not sell data, run analytics, or use data for advertising.
• Anyone with the party link can join, choose videos, share searches, and control playback. Share it only with people you trust.

Use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Remove the extension to clear its local storage.
